A New Chapter for the Farmers Market
The Cadillac DDA Board has approved a partnership with SEEDS EcoCorps to manage the Fridays in the Market farmers market at Cadillac Commons.
Working alongside the Wexford Conservation District and the DDA, SEEDS will oversee a fresh-food-focused market held Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Organizers are currently finalizing operational details, with vendor information and a full season announcement expected soon.
Downtown Cadillac Brand Launch Set for March 6
Downtown Cadillac will officially unveil its new brand identity on March 6, marking a new chapter for the district.
The launch celebration includes branded coffee cups at participating downtown coffee shops, a special Connect2Downtown Cadillac networking event at Chunky Bear, and the debut of official Downtown Cadillac merchandise. The initiative aims to create a unified identity that reflects the energy, growth, and momentum happening throughout downtown.
Small Business Round-Up Returns
The next Small Business Round-Up will take place March 5 at Magnolia Boutiques and Gifts.
The event will feature networking opportunities and presentations on the Match on Main Grant Program, small business resources, and community development initiatives. Business owners and entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend to learn about funding opportunities and available support programs.
Match on Main Grant Applications Open
Downtown businesses may be eligible for funding through Michigan’s Match on Main Grant Program.
The grant can provide up to $25,000 for eligible projects, including interior building improvements, technology upgrades, marketing and branding initiatives, and outdoor space activation. Applications are due to the City of Cadillac by March 31.
