Downtown Cadillac is gearing up for a day of shopping, family fun, community connections, and local business promotions as the Mitchell Street Market Summer Block Party returns on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The event will start at 11 a.m. and run all day throughout Downtown Cadillac, bringing together local vendors, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations for a celebration of everything that makes downtown unique.
A Day to Shop, Explore, and Connect
The Summer Block Party is designed to showcase local businesses while creating opportunities for residents and visitors to explore Downtown Cadillac. Attendees can expect a variety of vendor booths, community activities, shopping opportunities, and family-friendly experiences throughout the district.
Local nonprofits and organizations are encouraged to participate by offering interactive activities, information, and community engagement opportunities.
Vendor Registration Now Open
Local vendors interested in selling merchandise can register for the event at the following rates:
Early Registration: $50 (through July 1)
Standard Registration: $75 (after July 1)
Registration Deadline: July 31
Nonprofit organizations and businesses that are promoting services or offering activities without selling merchandise may participate at no cost.
Downtown Businesses Invited to Participate
Businesses located within the Downtown Development Authority district are encouraged to get involved. Participation is free for downtown businesses, and organizers welcome creative activities, demonstrations, and experiences that help showcase what Downtown Cadillac has to offer.
